Senior Building Physics Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Physics Engineer who is looking to progress to a Senior level by joining one of the North West’s top engineering consultancy. The successful candidate will be exposed to and given the opportunity to lead on a variety of multidisciplined projects and join their building performance team in Manchester.
The responsibilities for a Senior Building Physics Engineer will include:
1. Provide building energy consumption and embodied carbon services across all stages of their projects
2. Be a key figure in spreading the clients’ key values at meetings and professional network conventions
3. Identify and obtain opportunities for the client to enhance personal career development and enhancement
4. Mentor the more junior members of the team and help nurture their career development
The ideal Senior Building Physics Engineer:
5. Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Building Physics or Sustainability engineering role
6. Proficient in industry relevant software such as IES-VE to carry out energy modelling
7. Educational background within a sustainability, architectural, or engineering discipline
8. Ideally be an accredited NABERS Assessor and have a CIBSE accreditation
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills
