We are looking for a Consultant with Specialist Registration in Respiratory medicine, can evidence sound diagnostic and therapeutic skills in fibre-optic bronchoscopy and lung function testing including EBUS, has experience in managing patients with complex pleural effusion, including performing talc pleurodesis and insertion/removal of the IPC and iscompetent in the management of respiratory and general medical conditions withexperience in managing rapid access lung cancer clinics and lung MDT membership in the UK. Main duties of the job The James Cook service includes a 35 bedded inpatient ward incorporating an 8 bedded Respiratory Support Unit for non-invasive ventilation; a Lung Cancer Nursing Team; TB Nursing Team; COPD Outreach Service, COVID-19 virtual ward service, domiciliary NIV and a Specialist Respiratory Physiology Laboratory.
