As we continue to grow, we seek a dynamic Supervising Social Worker who will play a key role in shaping the future of our agency and improving the lives of children in foster care.\n\nYour Role as a Supervising Social Worker:\n\nIn this role, you will oversee and support a caseload of foster families, ensuring they have the guidance, training, and resources needed to provide high-quality care to children in their homes.
You will collaborate closely with local authorities, social service agencies, and internal teams to facilitate successful foster placements and provide ongoing support.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nRecruit, assess, and train prospective foster carers in line with regulatory and organisational standards.\nConduct comprehensive assessments of potential foster carers, including home visits, interviews, and background checks.\nProvide ongoing support and supervision to foster families through regular home visits, meetings, and crisis intervention when needed.\nDevelop and implement tailored care plans for children in foster care, working collaboratively with carers and other stakeholders.\nMonitor and evaluate children's progress, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and organisational policies.\nParticipate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance professional development and share best practices.\n\nJoin a Supportive and Collaborative Environment!\n\nYou will be fully supported by our leadership team, who are committed to helping you drive positive change and influence the future of our fostering service.
