As a CNC Machinist, your learning will consist of training on a variety of machines such as Milling, Turning & Grinding Machines. Your time will be split between attending In-Comm Training Centre in Telford, where you will spend time learning basic engineering skills, and on-site putting your learning into practice with our skilled engineers.
Your duties will include:
* Producing components using hand fitting techniques
* Preparing and using milling machines
* Producing CAD models (drawings) using a CAD system
* Producing engineering project plans
* Preparing and using CNC machining centres
* General welding applications
* Complying with statutory regulations and safety requirements
Machining Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
* This apprenticeship will be delivered over 3 years. The apprentice will be required to attend the training provider full time for the first 12 months and then one day a week for the remainder of the apprenticeship.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8.00 am - 4.45 pm.
