From September 2022Stroke services across North Mersey have been fully integrated. North Mersey Stroke services are now primarily based on 3 sites: Aintree, Broadgreen and Southport Hospitals. A single North Mersey Hyperacute Stroke Unit co-located with thrombectomy services is located at our Aintree Site and is supported by a unique Stroke Emergency Assessment Centre, with its own dedicated CT scanner, where potential stroke patients are directly admitted and assessed.
Role will cover inpatient and outpatient clinics across the Aintree & Broadgreen sites, including the Stroke Emergency Assessment Centre (EAC), Wards 32, 33 and Stroke Rehabilitation Unit (SRU) at Broadgreen.
