The Drumkit / Percussion Tutor is responsible for delivering high-quality music lessons aligned with the Music Department’s syllabus and ensemble program. This part-time role (0.6 FTE) requires a strong commitment to student development and musical excellence. Monday is a mandatory working day, with the remaining two days flexible based on scheduling needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Music Instruction & Student Development – Teach individuals or small groups, employing diverse strategies to foster active learning, track student progress, and communicate effectively with students and parents.
* Performance & Ensemble Participation – Prepare students for performances, assist in rehearsals, and contribute to the school's co-curricular ensemble program by directing or supporting ensembles.
* Professional & Program Development – Maintain expertise in music and teaching methods, participate in professional development, and contribute to curriculum and resource improvements.
