Process Engineer
This is a permanent position, working an average of 37 hours per week. The working pattern covers the core business hours and will involve weekend working and taking part in a 24/7 standby rota once fully trained.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer to join the Hull Production team (Cottingham and Driffield) at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers.

We provide essential water and wastewater services to every corner of the Yorkshire region, ensuring clean and safe drinking water and effective wastewater management.
Where you fit in:
As our Process Engineer, you will:
* Be based at a Water Treatment Works, completing operational and plant maintenance activities to provide wholesome water to our customers.
* Lead chemical and process optimisation of clean water treatment processes.
* Review Risk Assessments and Methods Statements, adhering to safe systems of work.
* Complete operational actions on site and provide support during incidents or operational events.
* Embrace Modernisation ways of working and reduce asset failure through Dynamic Asset Maintenance.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
* Multiskilled with a hands-on practical approach.
* Analytical with the ability to fault find and review data.
* Proficient in the use of IT systems and knowledge of risk policies and procedures.
* Effective in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience in a commercial orientated and/or regulated environment is desirable.
* A full, valid UK driving licence is required.
* Flexibility to respond to out of hours incidents is necessary.
