Helicopter Mechanic

Job Summary:
Our Customer, is at the forefront of Business Aviation, operating from the heart of Oxfordshire. They are seeking a skilled Helicopter Mechanic to inspect, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot helicopters to ensure they meet safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of rotorcraft systems, engines, avionics, and airframes, along with a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on helicopters, including airframe, engine, electrical, and avionics systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure airworthiness.
• Replace or repair defective components, such as rotor blades, transmissions, and hydraulics.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and parts usage in compliance with CAA / 2-REG and company regulations.
• Ensure all repairs and modifications meet manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with pilots and other maintenance personnel to address aircraft issues promptly.
• Stay updated on technical manuals, bulletins, and service advisories to ensure best practices.
• Operate ground support equipment and ensure proper maintenance of tools and workspaces.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Curent EWIS/FTS/HF/Continuation training
• Education: High school diploma certification in aviation maintenance preferred.
• Experience: Minimum [10] years of experience in helicopter maintenance. Experience with AW 109/155 is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• Other Requirements: Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with military or commercial helicopters.
• Knowledge of avionics and electronic flight systems.
• Familiarity with UKCAA / 2-REG regulations and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to obtain security clearance
