Easement Solutions Limited is the leading land rights service provider, specialising in supporting utility companies with land rights acquisitions for gas, electricity, water and fibre connections. This role will support the Client Account Managers, Key Projects Manager and Directors to deliver exceptional service to utility companies, developers and other businesses that utilise our service.

Key Tasks and Deliverables
* To identify landowners through the Land Registry database and desk-based research.
* To complete Highway Searches and analyse results.
* To have a comprehensive understanding of the legal principles applicable to easements and land, particularly the Gas and Electricity Acts.
* To assess Land Rights requirements, having regard to the Gas Act and Electricity Act and advising clients accordingly.
* To maintain a firm understanding of client-specific processes and Land Rights requirements.
* To identify legal requirements and ensure that the legal plans subsequently prepared are correct and meet with Land Registry and client requirements.
* To prepare and issue the correct legal documentation based on instructions and identified requirements.
* To instruct a Panel solicitor on IDNO/DNO projects and monitor their progress.
* To keep clients updated on a regular basis by phone/email and regular reports.
* To update and maintain the file records database.
* To maintain contact as required with all involved parties, including the client, landowner and their solicitors.
* To manage the project portfolio and ensure projects progress in line with ESL standards and report any problems that may delay the project or cause overspending to the Client Account Managers/Directors.
* To provide an understanding of and support to the Key Projects Manager, Senior Land Rights Project Manager and Directors with regard to fees, billing and quotes to clients.
* To ensure administrative matters (i.e., phone, post, other duties) are dealt with promptly.
* To provide advice, assistance and support to Client Account Managers and Key Projects Manager.
* To record accurately the time spent on projects.
* To support the Operations Director and Client Account Managers with review of historic projects.
* To undertake any other task commensurate with the post.
Employment Terms and Conditions
* This is a full-time position requiring 35 hours per week, with one hour allocated for lunch (unpaid).
* The role is office-based, with a minimum four days per week in the office.
* The salary banding for this role is £25,000-£31,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
* The annual leave entitlement is 26 days per year plus Bank Holidays.
