About the role The Engineering and Architecture at Haleon are looking for a Solution Architect to join our team. We are organized around the personas of Customers, Consumers and Experts – this role is critical in developing end to end solutions for one or more of our personas considering the holistic need of our users and how they interact with product experiences to meet their needs. Key Responsibilities- Design and Develop End-to-End Solutions : Focus on Personas: Develop solutions tailored to specific personas (Customers, Consumers, and Experts) ensuring a holistic view of user needs and product interactions. Architectural Leadership Cloud Expertise: Leverage deep understanding of Azure Cloud Services to architect scalable and secure solutions. Microservices Architecture: Design and build a composable architecture using containerized microservices ( leveraging Kubernetes) to ensure reusable capabilities and agile solution delivery. API-First Approach: Promote and apply API-first design principles to ensure extensibility and easy integration. Modern Integration Approaches Event-Driven Architecture: Implement and manage event-driven integration patterns to support real-time data flow and integration between systems. Enable Data and AI: Architect solutions that enable data-driven insights and AI, contributing to the company’s business intelligence. Infrastructure Modernization PaaS Services: Leverage Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) to simplify and modernize the technology landscape. Protect Core Business Applications: Ensure stability and scalability of critical business applications, particularly during transformation initiatives like SAP S4 Hana migration. Collaboration and Leadership Technology Transformation at Scale: Drive large-scale technology transformation efforts across the organization, promoting innovative practices. Thought Leadership: Contribute to the strategic direction of the company’s technology architecture and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Cross-Technology Integration Salesforce CRM: Integrate and optimize Salesforce CRM to support customer relationship management and field operations across multiple markets. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various teams (engineering, operations, and business) to ensure alignment of architecture and technology strategies. Kubernetes Platform Modernization Utilize the shared infrastructure Kubernetes platform to enhance scalability, performance, and modernization of the company’s tech stack Who are we looking for- 10 years’ experience of working with enterprise solutions in these areas: Azure Cloud services, Kubernetes platform. Experience in modernizing enterprise systems using Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions to streamline and simplify complex technology landscapes. Expertise in SAP and S4HANA migrations. Expertise in Salesforce CRM. Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of working within complex landscapes and finding innovative solutions for modernization and integration challenges. Experience working with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end solutions aligned with the needs of various personas (Customers, Consumers, Experts).
