Aerospace Quality Engineering Role
In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality processes that meet or exceed industry standards.
As a senior quality professional, you will lead and manage a quality team to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle, from design to delivery.
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
1. Develop and maintain quality policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
2. Lead and manage the quality team to achieve organisational objectives and key performance indicators.
3. Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to drive quality improvements and identify areas for cost reduction.
4. Conduct supplier audits and implement corrective actions to ensure supplier compliance with quality standards.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Compliance with industry regulations and standards.
* Improvement in quality metrics, such as defect rates and customer satisfaction.
* Cost savings through process improvements and reduced waste.
Salary and Benefits:
* Estimated salary up to £50,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience).
