Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Officer
Salary: £39,267 - £42,294 per annum
Hours: 35 Hours per Week
Location: County Hall, Worcester

The Role:
We’re looking for someone with excellent skills and knowledge in understanding social care quality standards.
We have an exciting development opportunity within Worcestershire County Council People Directorate, Commissioning and Quality Assurance Team. We are looking to recruit a Senior Quality Assurance Officer to cover the current position holder’s role while they cover a different position. This contract is currently expected to be until 30 April 2026.
This is a key role supporting the Quality Assurance Manager in managing the Quality Assurance Team, which ensures the quality of social care providers' delivery of care to our residents in Worcestershire. You will be expected to supervise and manage Quality Assurance Officers, plan their work plans, and support the Quality Assurance Manager in preparation for CQC assessment. Your responsibilities will include reviewing current practices against best in class, recommending and leading change and transformation actions, and continuing to develop the team's capabilities and approach to integration across our health and care system.
