With over 100 staff and 17 Partners, this niche-oriented practice focuses on the media, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and property sectors. Position Overview As an Audit Senior, you will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and finalising audit assignments, working directly with clients under manager/partner supervision. You will also be responsible for preparing accounts and corporation tax computations for incorporated businesses, ensuring professional standards are met while supervising and developing junior staff. Responsibilities Plan, execute, and finalise audit assignments, working directly with clients under manager/partner supervision Prepare accounts and corporation tax computations for incorporated businesses for review by managers or partners Control cost budgets, meet reporting timetables, and prepare key client reporting documents Ensure professional standards are met and supervise and develop more junior staff Develop professional relationships with clients and within the firm Engage in self-development and continuing professional education to progress in practice Act as a responsible team member, providing support, development, and guidance to junior members Adhere to budgets and timetables, bringing matters to the attention of managers Produce work for manager and partner review that requires little further input, clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions Assist with client cash flows, business plans, and due diligence assignments when necessary Requirements ACCA qualified or equivalent Minimum 2 years' experience in audit and accounts preparation assignments Good working knowledge of Corporation Tax, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements Computer literate with working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, CCH Central, CCH Accounts Production and Corporation Tax, Caseware Audit, Sage Line 50, QuickBooks, and Xero Company Overview Our client is the largest ACCA practice in the UK, with a strong reputation in the accounts department.
