Receptionist / Administrator

We are supporting a well-established company based in Loughton with recruiting for a Receptionist / Administrator on a permanent basis. The salary is paying up to 30k per annum (DOE) and the hours are Monday to Friday, 9:15am-5:45pm or 9:30am-6pm with an hour for lunch. This is an office-based position with free parking on-site.
Duties will include:
First point of contact for clients entering the office, ensuring they have signed in correctly
Notify relevant person about visitor arrival, ensuring that all visitors are greeted and accompanied into the building by a member of staff.
Answering telephone calls in a professional manner providing a warm and professional switchboard service
Logging calls and monitoring the switchboard system ensuring all extensions and lines are working efficiently
Assisting with ordering equipment and stationery when required
Manage the ground floor meeting rooms ensuring rooms are booked correctly, kept presentable and provide refreshments to visitors and internal staff
Supporting with other ad hoc administration duties, such as franking documents, post duties, and scanning and filing
Ensure that the Reception Area is kept tidy
You must have previous Reception experience in order to be considered for this position and have a positive attitude and approach to work.
To be successful for this position, you must be a strong communicator with previous switchboard operator experience. You must also be highly organised with strong attention to detail, and good knowledge using different IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
