About the Role The Business Development Executive (Apprenticeships) will play a pivotal role in driving apprenticeship growth at Trafford & Stockport College Group, by engaging with businesses across various sectors to secure new apprenticeships. This role will focus on developing and nurturing employer relationships, building a strong pipeline of opportunities, and ensuring apprenticeship recruitment targets are met in alignment with the profile set by the Head of Business Development and Employer Partnerships. Key Deliverables: Proactively identifying and engaging with businesses across multiple sectors to promote apprenticeship opportunities offered by the college. Developing strong relationships with employers, understanding their workforce development needs and aligning them with appropriate apprenticeship standards. Conducting employer meetings, site visits, and presentations to promote the benefits of apprenticeships. Ensuring employer engagement activity is recorded and maintained using the college’s CRM system. Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of apprenticeship opportunities to meet and exceed monthly and annual apprenticeship start targets. Managing customer relationships with employers, in line with the sector/industry maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of sector developments. Monitoring and reporting on pipeline progress, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders. Developing positive internal relationships and improving communication channels with apprenticeship recruitment and delivery teams. Representing the college at networking events, business forums, and apprenticeship-related activities to promote the college's offerings. Working with Marketing to ensure that all opportunities for the effective marketing and promotion of apprenticeships across the college are developed.
