Business Analyst Manager Location: Watford, Hertfordshire Job Type: Full-time A new exciting permanent opportunity has become available with a global leading construction company seeking an experienced Business Analyst Manager to lead the delivery of their business analysis function. This role involves managing a team of Business Analysts, defining business problems, documenting requirements, and ensuring technology solutions aligning with their business goals. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining a motivated team and driving the effectiveness of IT solutions across the company. Day-to-Day of the Role: Manage the performance, workload, and development of Business Analysts, including KPIs. Oversee the recruitment and management of the Business Analyst team. Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and gap analysis to contribute to business cases. Facilitate the negotiation of project scopes and requirements with multiple stakeholders. Map business processes, workflows, and interactions between roles and systems. Lead workshops and meetings for information gathering and requirement elicitation. Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and workstream heads. Coordinate daily tasks and provide weekly reports on the Business Analysts team's progress. Ensure adherence to company and IT policies and procedures, including IT risk management. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in resource planning, prioritisation, and team performance management. IIBA or BCS Foundation qualification in Business Analysis. Strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Proficiency in modelling process techniques such as BPMN, workflows, swim lanes, and sequence diagrams. Experience in data modelling and interface mapping. Background in project management; ITIL Foundation qualification is a plus. Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet strict deadlines. Strong leadership skills with a participative style and the ability to build productive team relationships.
