Salary: G7 £32,654- £37,035 per annum
Permanent / 37 hours per week

Walsall Council Corporate Landlord; Cleaning, Caretaking, Catering, SCPW, Security and Facilities Management require a Governance, Support and Training Officer to provide a robust auditable training infrastructure, supporting the service in the attainment and maintenance of policies and procedures in line with statutory legislation and guidance.
You will be responsible for the departmental training of all frontline employees, networking with appropriate departments and organisations to identify and develop training sessions whereby you will deliver any training required to all employees in a manner relevant to the needs of the audience.
You will ensure that all machinery and maintenance within Corporate Landlord is fit for purpose and equipment asset documents are maintained. Scheduling planned and reactive maintenance of all equipment in a timely manner.
The role will include the monitoring and review of Council information including Corporate Governance, data protection and Health & safety; including any information required under legislation. This will require a highly organised and pragmatic work style.
You will need:
1. Experience in a training environment
2. Experience in a facilities environment
The role also requires the successful applicant to hold or be working towards an appropriate NEBOSH professional qualification.
The post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers.
