An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified person to join NHS Highland in providing professional nursing leadership to Community Nursing Teams across North Highland HSCP.
This is a highly regarded and dynamic professional nursing leadership post, reporting to the Professional Lead Nurse and working closely with the Associate Nurse Director, Deputy Nurse Director, Board Nurse Director, other senior nurses in the organisation and in partnership with operational managers, and clinical leads.
The post holder will work closely with a range of colleagues from community nursing, adult social care, infection control and tissue viability teams to ensure excellence in care provision for people living in care homes and receiving care at home services.
This is a key leadership role and serves to provide expert advice on safe, quality care; professional workforce standards; planning and development; service improvement; and partnership working
Experience in a leadership role is desirable, but passion, vision, and an understanding of the vital contribution of the professional leadership team are equally as important.
Some travel within NHS Highland will be required. A valid driving licence is essential. Access to pool car use can be arranged.
Working pattern is Monday to Friday and base is negotiable within North Highland.
