Working as part of the Medical Education Department, the Medical Education Administrator will be the point of contact within the Department for visitors including Medical Students and Permanent and Non-Permanent Medical Staff. Providing a courteous and efficient service to all internal and external colleagues and visitors. Respecting the confidential and sensitive nature of some communications, the post holder will maintain a professional approach when dealing with queries and requests. Main Secretarial and Administrative Responsibilities: 1. Provide an efficient, comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Director of Medical Education and the Medical Education Team. 2. Responsible for the ordering of goods and equipment as requested. 3. Manage study leave applications, including the processing of requests, seeking approval and calculating funds for submission of requests to the Finance Department. 4. Organise and book educational courses, liaising with external companies to secure dates and finalise programmes 5.
