The successful candidate should have relevant experience have a good understanding of patient safety issues, although additional in house training and support will be provided specific to the organisation. The duties & responsibilities of the role are: To work flexibly within the patient safety team to ensure the needs of our patients, families and staff are prioritised in a timely fashion and safety team colleagues are supported. This may involve working hours and onsite days being changed from week to week in order to provide a responsive support and learning service. To work with divisions, the corporate nursing, patient experience, quality improvement, and risk teams as part of the Trusts patient safety team to ensure that the Trust meets the requirements set out in the National Patient Safety Strategy and PSIRF.
