The main purpose of the HR Admin role will be to deliver exceptional professional and confidential HR support and administration across the full range of HR activity for the business. If you have a CIPD qualification, great, but it's not essential. You will have strong administration skills and be proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel. You will be good with numbers to carry out the monthly payroll and know your way around spreadsheets and have excellent attention to detail. You will be able to handle sensitive and confidential information and be compliant with all HR activities. The most important thing is that you have good admin experience, can multitask and have good attention to detail. Your ability to keep confidentiality is also key to being successful. As an HR Administrator, you will be able to build relationships across the different business units at various locations both face to face, on the phone and in writing. You will be dealing with all HR admin including recruitment offer letters, sifting Cv's, inviting candidates to interview, and then all the admin around a general busy HR role. Key Responsibilities for the HR Administrator role: Providing administrative support to the Head of HR. Collating all the relevant data for payroll purposes and updating payroll spreadsheet in time for monthly payroll deadline. Developing positive relationships with all businesses and colleagues. Completing employment checks, including chasing references, verifying right to work checks, and credit checks. Monitoring the HR email inbox and answering any enquiries. Issuing conditional offers with the relevant forms to be completed by the new starters. Keeping the HR systems, up to date and accurate. Assisting with the recruitment process, placing adverts, arranging interviews and updating the recruitment portal, ensuring all applications receive a response. Support the administration of team benefits, childcare vouchers, health cash plan and private medical. Complete all 6 monthly driving licence checks on all company employees and ensure any convictions are reported to the insurers. Delivering team inductions across the business, keeping all inductions up to date with any changes. Completing exit interviews with any leavers from the business and providing feedback to relevant people. Identify any training needs for first aid, mental health first aid and fire wardens and arrange required training. Providing administrative support, including minute taking at any HR meetings when required. Regularly contributes to the team, recommending improvements to systems and procedures to improve efficiency in the department.
