Job Purpose This role is an important position in the function, reporting to the People Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing administration and advisory support across the Radius Group of companies within the UK and Ireland. Working hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, the role is office based from our HQ at Crewe, Cheshire. This role will require you to be based at our office 5 days per week. Flexibility to travel to our offices located across the UK and Europe may also be required where needed and planned in advance. Your responsibilities day to day will be… Providing administration and advisory support within the People Services team around new starters, leavers, changes, holiday queries, benefits and salary and bonus changes. Championing data integrity within our HRIS ensuring that our People data is accurately maintained. Driving continuous improvement and innovation within People Services by reviewing policy, processes, and documentation to ensure best practice and legal compliance. Acting as a mentor or escalation point to our People Associates, providing support and guidance and taking over cases or queries once escalated beyond their role scope. Supporting managers with ER matters. Advising on disciplinary, grievance and flexible working matters, identifying and quantifying potential risk. Supporting managers with long term sickness absence within their teams. Arranging welfare meetings, occupational health referrals, advising on return-to-work options and capability hearings. Advising and supporting on cases relating to parental leave – maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and adoption leave. Managing projects such as Investors in People, Employee Engagement Surveys and other projects as part of the People Strategy. What do we expect of you? Proven ability to navigate through a case load of ER matters, independently, within a commercial environment. Experience of utilising and maintaining a HRIS, attention to detail and ability to analyse data. Ability to plan and prioritise and keep to deadlines within a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively to build support for a course of action, idea, or business initiative Ability to promote team co-operation.
