Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + DOE
Office based position with the potential for hybrid working in the future.
Simpson Judge are proud to be currently recruiting for a multi-disciplinary and long-standing law firm who have an exciting opportunity for experienced Residential Property fee earners ranging from unqualified case handlers to 5 PQE +.
Are you an experienced Residential Property Solicitor/Executive or Fee Earner that is qualified through experience and seeking to take the next step in your career to Head of Department?
In this role, you will come into a warm and managed caseload of residential property files, which would consist of a variety of traditional residential property matters with support staff on hand, which you will also manage and assist. This role is a senior team lead role with fee earning and management elements involved, but all targets regarding billings and such will be flexible depending on how your time is spent.
The role includes:
1. Managing a caseload.
2. Engaging with prospective legal clients, producing matter estimates and pre-instruction documentation.
3. Preparing and drafting correspondence and precedent documents for fee earners.
4. Drafting and submitting Land Registry applications and dealing with completions and post-completion formalities.
5. Working on marketing strategies to attract new clients and developing relationships with current clients.
6. Guiding and assisting team members with technical assistance.
7. Managing and maintaining KPIs.
The ideal candidate:
1. Previously led a team in a residential property department.
2. Panel accredited.
3. Experience submitting CQS forms.
4. Personable.
5. Able to work well using own initiative.
6. Pro-active and driven.
7. Strong ICT skills.
