* Defines thequalification obligations for the assurance hold points duringbuild, test & commissioning, and provides assurance to theDesign Authority as to the adequacy and robustness of the SafetyCase and supportingdocumentation Identifies and closes issues emerging from productlifecycle stages and manages the resulting change embodimentactivities Undertakes peer reviews or checking /verificationof tasks as directed
* Developing andvalidating thermal models to predict product performance undervarious operatingconditions Collaborating with electrical, mechanical, andsystems engineers to optimize the thermal design of radarcomponents andsubsystems
Your skillsand experiences:
* Master’s or bachelor’sdegree in mechanical engineering or a related field and or provenexperience Strong understanding of heat transfer principles,fluid mechanics, andthermodynamics
* Experience in designingand testing thermal systems for electronic components, PCB coolingand whole radar systems

The Mechanical EngineeringRadar team: As you engage with engineering functions across thebusiness, as our team covers the whole engineering lifecycle usingthe latest cutting-edge technology, becoming a member of theMechanical Engineering Radar team will provide you with significantexposure inside the larger BAE Systemsorganisation. BAE Systems Naval Radar provides Radar products andsupport services to a diverse range of customers worldwide. Thisrole will provide engineering management support as part of a teamdelivering capability upgrades to the Royal Navy over the next 10years. You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance yourskills and knowledge, with the potential to lead into more seniorpositions within a globalbusiness.
