What will the Part-Time Personal Tax Manager role involve?
* Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax return preparation and submission.
* Providing expert advice on personal tax matters, including self-assessment, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
* Reviewing tax returns prepared by junior staff and offering mentorship and guidance.
* Identifying tax planning opportunities to support clients in minimising their tax liabilities.
* Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients and handling tax queries effectively.
* Keeping up to date with the latest tax legislation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service and communication.
Suitable Candidate for the Part-Time Personal Tax Manager Vacancy:
* ATT/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience in personal tax within an accountancy firm.
* Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation, including self-assessment and capital gains tax.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain tax matters clearly to clients.
* Ability to work independently, manage workloads effectively, and meet deadlines.
* Experience in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
