A leading chartered accountancy firm in Brighton is seeking a Xero Advisor / Bookkeeper / Management Accountant to join their dynamic Plus Advisory team. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, focusing on bookkeeping, management accounts, and VAT, while providing expert cloud accounting support.
About the Firm
With over 30 years of experience, the firm has grown to a team of 4 Directors, 10 Managers, and 24 staff members across various departments, including Audit, Business Services, Personal Tax, Advisory, Marketing, and Administration. They are committed to growth and delivering high-quality services to a diverse client base, including SMEs and Finance Directors of domestic and international businesses.

As a Xero Advisor, you will:
1. Focus on management accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT, primarily using Xero.
2. Manage a regular portfolio of clients, providing direct engagement and support.
3. Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns.
4. Advise and assist clients with cloud accounting software, including Xero and connected apps like Dext.
5. Collaborate with a team of passionate Xero enthusiasts known for delivering exceptional client support.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
1. Qualifications: AAT qualification and Xero certification, or substantial experience using Xero and related cloud software.
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in bookkeeping and management accounts, with strong VAT and CIS knowledge.
3. Skills:
* Proficient in Xero and connected apps like Dext.
* Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication with team members and clients.
* A meticulous work ethic and enthusiasm to grow professionally.
