About Our Client
A progressive public sector organisation in the North West, dedicated to enhancing our community through effective asset and property management, responsible for around 300 properties across commercial, operational, retail, and industrial asset classes. There is a property team of around 15 people delivering all general practice property duties as well as facilities and property management services to the organisation.
Job Description
* Lead and manage the property team, ensuring effective delivery of asset and property management services.
* Develop, implement, and monitor property strategies aligned with the organisation's objectives.
* Oversee property acquisition, disposal, and management processes to optimise portfolio and asset performance.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive property development and management.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and health and safety.
* Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven experience in property and asset management, ideally within a public sector environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successful strategy implementation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS) would be advantageous.
