National Grid is hiring a People Coordinator on a 12 Months FTC. The location for this role can be based in Bristol (Avonbank) - We offer a hybrid working model.
Job Purpose
This role will report directly to the People Services Manager where you’ll offer frontline support to employees and managers. You will engage with impactful administration, updates and contribute your ideas and knowledge to our transformative change journey.
What you'll do
* Provide front line email and telephony services to answer hire to retire queries.
* Proactively assist employees through the employee life cycle processes, answering HR related queries including payroll and benefit questions.
* Producing standard contracts of employments and other contractual employment change documentation.
* Update and manage data within our HRIS ensuring data accuracy, work comfortably to KPIs and offer support to continuously improve our processes and service.
* You’ll have the opportunity to build internal relationships, work effectively with related teams and key customers to ensure seamless service.
* Understanding of similar systems such as HRIS (ResourceLink) and ATS (TribePad) systems for our onboarding.
* Support the launch of a new way of working in the team – People Services Support Desk, ticket system. Work in focus areas of onboarding or life cycle.
About you
* You will have administration and/or HR experience.
* Knowledge of internal systems, HR systems such as HRIS and ATS systems.
* A strong understanding of the employee life cycle is desirable.
* Proficient in system administration and data mining.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a large volume of tickets.
What you'll get
A competitive salary Circa £35,000 – dependent on capability.
