Health Care Support Worker - Band 3
Malmesbury Community Team
Hours per week - Permanent
We are unable to offer overseas sponsorship for this role.
We are looking for adynamic person to work within a multi-disciplinary team in a community setting,providing support, care and treatment to individuals in their own homes. Thisservice is provided between the hours of and over 7 days perweek. There is a requirement to work shifts and weekends.
You will interact withall members of nursing, therapy, medical and other allied professionals relatedto the community team. You will be required to communicate with team members,patients, and carers.
Main duties of the job
Your role will bediverse: end of life care, active patient treatment and rehabilitation. Youwill have training to enable you to increase your skills and become a valuedmember of the team. Training will include Tissue Viability, moving and handling,rehabilitation, venepuncture, and many other skills.
The successful candidateshould have 12 months experience of working in a care setting, have their NVQ3or equivalent and be capable of working under distanced supervision.
