We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team at our Newcastle site. If you have a passion for automotive parts and are committed to providing exceptional service, this role is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
13. Handle the sourcing, ordering, and distribution of vehicle parts for the repair team, ensuring parts are available as required.
14. Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
15. Assist customers and technicians in identifying and supplying the correct parts, providing expert advice when necessary.
16. Manage parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and conducting regular audits.
17. Maintain a well-organized parts department, ensuring efficient operations and a clean workspace.
18. Process parts orders and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
Qualifications and Experience:
19. Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
20. Excellent understanding of automotive parts and the ability to identify parts based on diagrams or schematics.
21. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
22. Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, technicians, and customers.
23. Strong IT skills, with experience using parts ordering and inventory management systems.
24. A proactive approach with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
