Mitie /Communities (revenue £700m) is one of the four major business divisions within Mitie, alongside Technical Services, Business Services and Central Government & Defence. At Mitie Communities we serve public sector clients in Healthcare, Education (schools and universities), local authorities and councils, and emergency services. We provide our clients with both soft and hard facilities management services.
This role reports to the Operating Unit Director of Local Government and Education and is a member of the regional senior leadership team. The role will work in close collaboration with operational and functional colleagues within Mitie Communities and also across wider Mitie.
Role Responsibilities

* Develop and support direct reports to help them meet their full potential with Mitie. Manage your talent pipeline within Mitie LG&E and put in place strong succession plans for yourself and your team.
* Successfully achieve our employee engagement target scores for Mitie LG&E.
* Successfully achieve people metrics including new joiner retention, agency and overtime, and wellness to work.
* Deliver budgeted LG&E regional numbers for revenue, profit and cash.
* Ensure that every LG&E account within your area of responsibility has a performance plan including financial, operational and client experience goals and sustainability and social value objectives. Ensure that the right progress is made against these plans.
* Coach, lead and support account managers to deliver their account-level performance plans.
* Establish deep, strong relationships with your key clients and support and coach account managers to do the same.
* Put in place and deliver plans that provide a service-user experience that is second to none.
* Meet all required compliance standards, including technical and commercial compliance.
* Organically grow the contract and work with OUD of LG&E to ensure that the Mitie LG&E sales strategy (client targeting; bid/no-bid; bid strategies) will deliver the LG&E revenue growth and margin ambitions.
* Support the delivery of revenue targets from our ‘Mitie 1st' strategy – providing Projects, Energy and other Mitie products and services to current LG&E clients.
* Make a significant contribution to Mitie's sustainability (‘Plan Zero') and Social Value objectives.
