Excellent opportunity for a building services sector Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy and successful maintenance team to work on a large prestigious facility in the Chester area.
We are looking for driven, professional and multiskilled engineers to assist in the Electrical / HVAC maintenance within the estates.
The role is a permanent position paying circa 40k
On call 1 in 4 (£125 plus call out min 4 hours)
Mon-Fri 6am-3pm & 2pm-11pm
Description
Within the maintenance engineer role you will be carrying out all planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the site. The role will require a flexible approach as you will often be called to carryout or support works that are outside your core discipline.
Duties & Responsibilities
To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on AHU’s, fan coils, pumps, venting, Air conditioning and associated mechanical plant
Electrical plant, controls, lighting etc.
To complete PPM’s in line with SLA and KPI agreements
To provide H&S and compliance engineering on each facility
To undertake compliance checks
To undertake commercial plumbing, leak repair, fittings and services work
To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines
Skills & Background Required :
Recognised professional qualification e.g. City & Guilds Electrical or Air Conditioning trade
Maintenance background in commercial sized buildings
Must be presentable and reliable
Be capable of passing a security check

Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
Strong planning and workload management skills with the ability to manage short term and long term activities to agreed deadlines
