Prospero Teaching is recruiting a number of dynamic and dedicated Welsh speaking Teaching Assistants to join a number of supportive schools in South Wales. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students in both small groups and 1:1 settings, helping them with their academic progress and personal development. You will play a key role in creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere.
Position Details
1. Location: Various locations across South-West Wales
2. Position: Welsh speaking Teaching Assistant
3. Type of work: Teaching Assistant - day to day and long term cover in various schools
4. Start date: ASAP
5. Duration / Likely Duration: Day to day bookings, with the potential for extension depending on schools
6. End date (if applicable): N/A
7. Contract type: Temporary
8. Full time/part time: Part time and full time depending on schools needs
9. Minimum rate of pay: Minimum rate £16.31 per hour
10. Hours: 8:45 am - 3:20pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover
What We're Looking For:
1. Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational setting (though not essential).
2. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
3. A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
4. Ability to motivate and inspire students.
