EMEA Group Marketing Manager EMEA, Core and PE

About the role
This role has accountability for the overall franchise marketing strategy and execution in Pulmonary Embolism and Core Vascular reporting into the PI EMEA Vascular Sales and Marketing Director.
Portfolio responsibility includes clot management technologies, bare metal vascular stents, imaging and various vascular access products. This position has 3 direct reports including Portfolio and Product Life Cycle product managers.
This position is responsible for planning, driving, executing and further developing marketing and therapy and sales development initiatives across EMEA. This includes involvement in setting strategic direction for the business, meeting revenue and profitability targets, building a high performing marketing team and working internationally to integrate marketing and market development strategies in partnership with Country Sales / Marketing, Global and regional Marketing, Medical Affairs and HEMA.
Your Responsibilities will include:
* Set strategic direction for Pulmonary embolism and vascular portfolio ensuring alignment of tactical planning, execution and control through the help of direct reports.
* Drive Sales and therapy development across the region influencing key internal and external stakeholders
* Develop and maintain the highest level of in-depth knowledge and understanding of the market environment, competition and trends based on market research, market intelligence and extensive interaction within the field.
* Be part of the Vascular EMEA leadership team, influencing, driving and creating the strategic direction of the business
* Influence and support development of Global strategies, business plans / programs for existing and new products which will drive customer demand in current and new market segments.
* Ensure full alignment on strategies with Business Cluster Directors to drive execution across the region
* Coordinate with global upstream team as necessary to complete market research, market assessments and analysis. Support EMEA team to provide input and influence Global product launch process regarding market opportunity, product positioning and launch plans.
* Responsible for development and implementation of EMEA marketing strategy considering the Global strategy and ensuring adaptation to specific requirements in countries. Influence country management teams on growth and resource allocation.
* Support the development of the marketing digitalisation strategy and related initiatives in cooperation with the regional commercial organisation
* Partner with Medical affairs and Commercial on EMEA KOL management activities and develop strong relationships, while levering the clinical evidence
* Lead a team of 3 marketing professionals. Develop annual and long-term objectives with development goals to support team growth.
What are we looking for in you?
Knowledge and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree required, Master or equivalent preferred
* 7+ years marketing, with minimum 5 years in medical devices
* Sales experience in medical devices or pharma preferred
* Interventional cardiology experience preferred
* 3+ years people leadership experience

* Excellent coaching, personnel development with people management experience preferred
* Strong leadership and influence skills, with ability to inspire cross functional collaboration, with a high focus on management team in Global marketing and BUM’s/ NSM’s in EMEA
* Collaborative leader who is commercially minded, ensuring alignment between sales/marketing and EMEA/country
* Demonstrates ability to work with and manage cross-cultural and virtual teams
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required. 2nd EU language would be an advantage
* Knowledge/experience with digital marketing techniques is required
* Deep understanding of market access and therapy development techniques
* Travel: around 30%, primarily in EMEA.
