Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Senior Ecotoxicologist, specializing in Endocrine Disruption (ED), to join our dynamic Global Science Delivery team. As a key member of the team, you will drive the design, delivery, and interpretation of complex ecotoxicology studies. Key responsibilities will include:
* Designing and managing a range of ecotoxicology studies conducted at CROs in support of the development and registration of new active ingredients and existing products globally.
* Analysing complex datasets and interpreting results, while developing and owning global ED technical positions on Syngenta AIs.
* Collaborating with global regulatory teams to deliver leading-edge, fit-for-purpose approaches, aligned with regulatory requirements.
* Acting as a recognized ED expert for support with regulatory challenges and the development of appropriate technical strategies.
* Delivering high-quality ecotoxicology data while providing technical leadership and developing innovative strategies.
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
* BSc & MSc / Ph.D. in Biology, Ecotoxicology, Environmental Toxicology, or a closely related field.
* Extensive experience in ecotox studies under GLP environment, preferably in ED testing methods.
* Good understanding of global ecotoxicology data requirements for Plant Protection Products.
* Proven expertise in developing and advocating technical ED strategies.
* Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking in problem-solving and emerging science, while managing complex situations, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
