Our client, a thriving secondary school in Newham, is seeking a dedicated and passionate DT Teacher with a specialism in Textiles & Food Technology to join their team on a full-time basis from February to May 2025. The Role:
Teach Design Technology with a focus on Textiles & Food Technology across KS3 and KS4.
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
Support the school's commitment to high academic achievement and student progression.
Work collaboratively with the DT department to develop engaging schemes of work.
Maintain a safe and inspiring learning environment in line with Health and Safety guidelines.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Degree in Design Technology or a related field.
Experience teaching DT, specialising in Textiles & Food Technology, across KS3 and KS4.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for innovative teaching methods.
Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
