811CW Temporary Works Coordinator Hinkley Point C, Somerset Permanent, Full-time, Site-based £60,000 - £68,000 Annual Salary plus Car/Travel/Accommodation allowance Job Title: Temporary Works Coordinator Description & Background: A critical role within the Hinkley Point C project, the UKs first new build nuclear power station in a generation. This position is essential to supporting the UK NetZero targets. The Temporary Works Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of temporary works in accordance with BS 5975: 2019, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork. Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of Temporary Works for assigned work packages • Work closely with client and contractors Temporary Works Coordinators • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and related standards • Report to the Dalkia Temporary Works Designated Individual (TWDI) • Mentor and develop Temporary Works Supervisors • Identify and mitigate potential issues related to Temporary Works • Participate in Tier 1 Contractor workshops and provide expert advice • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain safety and quality standards Experience Required: • Minimum 5 years experience as a Lead Temporary Works Coordinator in Engineering Construction • Certification from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) as a Temporary Works Coordinator • Extensive knowledge of construction techniques and Temporary Works • Strong understanding of BS 5975: 2019 • Familiarity with CDM Regulations design obligations • High levels of IT literacy Desirable Qualifications: • Confined Spaces certification • Previous experience on the Hinkley Point C site Salary, Hours and Location • £60,000 - £68,000 Annual Salary • Car allowance • Travel and Accommodation allowance • 37 hours per week, permanent, Full-time • Site-based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset This role offers an opportunity to be part of a prestigious nuclear project critical to the UKs energy future, working in a dynamic environment that prioritises safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
