Job summary We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated and self-motivated Practice Nurse or Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly GP Practice in the beautiful town of Arundel.With a list size of 6600 patients, we all enjoy the rewards and recognition that comes from really knowing our patients. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering high quality, evidence-based care to our patients Experience with chronic disease management, women's health, child and adult immunisation and health promotion is desirable. You will be responsible for the delivery of practice nursing services, working as part of the practices multidisciplinary team who provide care within their scope of practice to the entitled patient population. The practice nurse will be responsible for a number of clinical areas such as health promotion, chronic disease management, health prevention, well woman and well man clinics, as well as supporting the management team in the reviewing of clinical policy and procedure. Main duties of the job Alongside the GP's the Nursing Team deliver clinical evidence-based practice for our local population, meeting the needs of the patients with particular attention to patients with long term conditions, and the provision of preventative healthcare. The ideal candidate should, have experience of working in areas of Chronic Disease Management, Cervical Cytology and vaccinations/ immunisations. In addition to this the candidate should have experience of providing routine healthcare assistance, wound care, implement well woman and well man clinics, assisting GPs with minor surgery, support the team with clinical emergencies, recognise, assess and refer patients presenting with mental health needs. About us We are a well-respected and long established semi-rural practice in the historic town of Arundel, lying at the foot of The South Downs National Park. Arundel Surgery are a well organised, supportive close-knit team consisting of three GP Partners, one GP retainer and an experienced practitioner team comprising an ANP and two Paramedic Practitioners.
