So, whats the role?
Were looking for a QA Analyst/software tester to join our busy Dev team. Youll be a key player in our Quality Assurance process, conducting thorough tests to ensure our software performance is spot on.
Some of the main responsibilities of a QA/Software Tester will be:
* Ensuring the stability and quality of our software products.
* Implementing new software solutions, websites, programs, and applications.
* Writing and executing manual test cases based on requirement specifications.
* Completing manual test execution and deliver test documentation within agreed timescales.
* Raising bugs/defects using Azure DevOps.
* Participating in Agile sprint ceremonies such as Product Backlog refinement, Sprint Planning and Sprint Review.
* Awareness of all products provided by Fusion Education Business Solutions and where necessary acquire an in-depth knowledge of specific products (dont worry well train you on that!)
* Recommending and implementing improvements.
Skills and knowledge which are really important to us are:
* 1-2 years experience in software testing as minimum.
* Knowledge of Azure DevOps, and the test plans area in particular.
* SQL knowledge.
* Bug triage.
* Proven experience of working within an Agile environment.
* Proven commercial experience working on customer facing SaaS systems.
* Delivery of quality software products with great attention to detail.
* Organisation and working well under pressure.
* Working to timescales.
* The ability to provide support and encouragement to others.
* The ability to manage yourself and align with team goals.
* ISTQB Foundation certification in Software Testing.
What's in it for me?
Salary range £35,000 - £40,000 depending on level of current SaaS/ed-Tech experience
