Our client is in search of an experienced and dedicated Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to become part of their rapidly expanding mixed first opinion and referral practice nestled in the serene Suffolk countryside.
Suffolk boasts some of the most idyllic countryside landscapes in the UK, characterised by rolling hills, vast open fields, and ancient woodlands. This county also hosts several nature reserves, including the renowned RSPB Minsmere, a sanctuary for wildlife enthusiasts.
With a heritage of more than five decades in Suffolk, our client has been delivering exceptional healthcare services to domestic pets, horses, and farm animals. As an unwaveringly independent practice, they have evolved into a group of six practices, steadfast in their commitment to delivering uncompromisingly high standards of care. You will be joining a team of 26 Vets, many of whom have received a long-service award for 10 years or more with the group, demonstrating their extensive expertise and commitment. The practices are equipped with cutting-edge technology, advanced techniques, and an array of supportive facilities including hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, behaviourists, grooming services, and an agility team, further enriching the services offered to clients.
The successful candidate will need to be someone who strives to provide the best level of care for patients and their owners. Ideally you will have a few years' experience however New Graduates are welcome to apply. Specialisms are supported and encouraged and the role would ideally suit a Vet with a medicine bias. You must be RCVS registered and be a great team player with excellent communication skills.
The Rota:
- Full time role - Flexibility on hours
- General day rota: 8.30am - 7pm 4 days a week or 8.30am - 5pm 5 days a week
- Weekend rota: 1:4 Saturday mornings (8.30am - 1pm) with inpatient checks
- No OOH
