Supported Individuals
Royston Close is a Supported Living environment that supports Service Users with Learning and Physical Disabilities. We are looking for someone who has great communication skills, a full clean UK Driving Licence, and experience in Health and Social Care, for example; autism, learning disability, and personal care.
What you’ll need:
1. Experience working with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours.
2. Person centred approach.
3. Provide personal care.
4. Be an advocate on someone’s behalf.
5. Full UK Valid Driving Licence.
Support Worker Roles and Responsibilities
1. Experience in a Caring environment preferred.
2. Able to work unsociable hours, weekends and bank holidays.
3. Shift patterns: long days, evenings, weekends and waking nights.
4. Good communication skills, allowing you to engage & interact with our Service Users.
5. Ability to keep calm under pressure.
6. Confidence to work alone and also be part of a team (family).
7. Passionate about making a positive difference to someone else’s life.
8. Good written skills.

What we do!
We are a well-established, nationwide healthcare provider. Our homes are specialist mental health services, offering adults person-centred care. We carefully develop and adapt homes to meet the varying needs of adults with mental health needs, located within thriving communities, offering a variety of educational, recreational, and social activities.
We provide a positive impact on the service experience of people with mental health difficulties who may be experiencing emotional distress. This primarily involves support using a person-centred approach. Our support workers measure outcomes specifically to an individual’s needs and evidence using our person-centred outcome-measuring tool.
Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement of employment. The disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
