Assist in the preparation and planning of menus with an attention to providing a variety of healthy and nutritious meals, light refreshments, snacks, and drinks. Complete all tasks in a busy environment prioritising preparation and cooking tasks as you go. Maintain the highest standards when preparing foods, serving to customers, and when preparing short order food. Consider allergens and dietary requirements for all food preparation and service. Complete stock control and process food delivery orders making sure that food is correctly stored. Maintain daily records of compliance with all food safety standards. Work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and operation of the kitchen, service and dining areas. What we’re looking for Someone with catering knowledge and expertise with a Level 2 or equivalent qualification. Experience of working in a similar role, preparing, cooking, and delivering a high-quality service and food standard. A passion for great food and excellent customer service. Experience and knowledge of food hygiene, allergens, health and safety legislation and best practices. Excellent communication skills. A one-team approach. Idea generation and implementation to meet service demands. A flexible approach able to work a variety of days, shifts, and locations to cover service requirements. Access to your own vehicle for business purposes, willing to travel to different catering locations across Stoke-on-Trent (Bradeley, Meir, and Stoke).
