If you are a veteran of the British armed forces and have an understanding of mental health recovery or have had your own lived experience journey with mental health, then you could be an ideal candidate for our service. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to work in our integrated veteran's mental health and wellbeing service. We support veterans in Surrey, Sussex and Kent, this post requires working across Sussex and Surrey with occasional cross cover in Kent. You will be a positive role model for other veterans overcoming mental health challenges and will inspire hope. You will support veterans in identifying both strengths and early signs of relapse and support them in identifying possible triggers or causes of relapse. The main duties of this role include: To support others who are overcoming mental health challenges in their journey to recovery and wellbeing To plan, promote and deliver delegated activities in accordance with the service user’s needs to meet goals identified in the individual’s Recovery Plan We are an expanding and exciting specialist service within SPFT, working regional in the south east and nationally as part of the NHS armed forces networks for Op courage.
