The Finance Business Partner will play a critical role working in this matrix structure by supporting strategic decision-making through financial insights and partnering closely with a key business function.,
* Serve as the primary finance contact for one of our Vice Presidents overseeing a key functional area within the business
* Alongside the functional leads support the forecasting, planning, and strategic processes focusing on the functional cost base; provide recommendations for efficiencies and monitor deviations from budget/forecast.
* Provide clear, data-driven recommendations and insights to non-financial stakeholders, facilitating understanding of financial performance and decisions
* Assess the financial feasibility of new projects, initiatives, and investments. Construct, input, and thoroughly evaluate financial assumptions within business cases, with a focus on assessing risk, identifying opportunities and calculating payback
* Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, opportunities, risks, and provide actionable insights
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, analysing variances between actual and forecasted results
* Create and present regular financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations
* Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, monitor expenses, and ensure resources are used effectively
* Ensure adherence to financial policies, regulatory standards, and corporate governance requirements
Finance or business partnering experience
* Excellent excel skills & confident with integrated business systems
* Demonstrated experience of working with large data sets and providing financial insight
* Able to tailor communication skills to different personalities
* Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
