At The Economist Group you will be surrounded by colleagues with a wealth of experience and deep subject expertise. We are a globally interested community providing daily opportunity to collaborate with and learn from exceptional colleagues. Our team of 1,500 spans 14 countries and 25 offices.
We are redefining the way we work to focus on outcome not input. We work flexibly-whether that’s in the office, at home or in another country.
Thrive in a flexible workplace
Our hybrid work environment combines the camaraderie and collaboration of the office with the flexibility of working from home. Colleagues can also work from anywhere in the world for up to five weeks per year. Our working practices include “no meeting“ times so colleagues can focus on key projects and we prefer to stick to core hours for meetings.
Be supported and support others
In 2021 we celebrated World Mental Health Day with a day off in October. The Group also encourages supporting our communities and offers volunteering days and charitable giving matches through our Charitable Trust.
Champion environmental accountability
The Economist Sustainability Group is the in-house network for our sustainability champions, made up of colleagues around the world. They are building environmentally-conscious mindsets and behaviours with a focus on office energy and waste, commuting and business travel. New ideas are regularly shared on our in-house sustainability Slack channel.
Learning and development
We will actively invest in your growth, including through our extensive learning and development platform which enables you to acquire the skills and experience you need to progress.
Enjoy comprehensive benefits
We offer excellent benefits including competitive salary, a bonus scheme, health insurance, generous annual and parental leave policies, volunteering days and wellbeing support throughout the year and access to all The Economist content. Country specific benefits are also offered.
