Job Overview This post is Fixed term/Secondment for 14 months until 01/07/2026 to meet the needs of the service. To provide Specialist Nursing expertise, knowledge and skills in the Clinical practice of Transplantation Nursing Care. To be an agent for change within defined clinical and organisational boundaries. To function at a higher level of practice demonstrating higher levels of decision making, planning and collaborative working, on a regional and national basis. To provide clinical teaching and education to colleagues in order to enhance clinical practice and improve patient care. Lead in evaluation, audit and research to ensure practice is evidence based in order to improve standards of care. The role focus is to provide a continuum of care from pre-transplant identification, assessment, referred through to long term post-transplant care. To provide living donor, both related unrelated and altruistic assessment and referral, under the guidelines of the regional transplant centres.
