Job Description
The role of Treasury within M&S is to identify, monitor and manage the Group's financial risks. Front Office plan and implement deals to manage the group's cash position and hedge exposures. Back Office confirm the details of these deals with the counterparts and handle settlements. Banking performs cash allocation and bank reconciliations.
The Treasury Back Office Analyst's role is to manage the day-to-day Back Office operational results from liquidity and foreign currency management to payments and reconciliations, through to accounting and reporting, ensuring the operation of appropriate financial controls and compliance with Treasury policy.

What you'll do
Your key accountabilities will include:
* Manage day-to-day treasury payments input and authorisation process in accordance with the related control framework and deadlines. This includes handling deal confirmations, settlement instructions, authorisation, counterparty limits management, and bank account reconciliations.
* Support process improvement within treasury whilst maintaining operational quality and delivery.
* Manage process and controls optimisation of treasury systems.
* Understand and manage daily cash accounting processes, produce any required manual journal entries.
* Prepare daily operational and controls key indicator dashboard reporting.
Who You Are
Your skills and experience will include:
* Prior treasury experience and knowledge.
* Working knowledge of SAP ECC and a high level of proficiency in Treasury systems.
* Process, project, and system development experience.
* An ability to manage a complex and varied workload to tight deadlines.
* A good attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* The ability to manage both internal and external business partner relationships.
