Finance Assistant Manager - What You'll be Doing Each Day: To ensure that procedures and tasks relating to the Finance & Administration department are completed efficiently. Prepare and provide all EOM Finance Analysis reports Liaise with Sales Dept and Japan/USA offices to prepare Sales Budgets, Sales Forecasts, Monthly Budget/Forecast vs Sales Analysis Provide Monthly Top5 Group Sales Analysis. Prepare Half yearly Credit limit reviews as well as initial credit limit for new customer and initiate workflow of Credit limit approval in SharePoint, Set up and maintaining approved Credit limits in SAP, Monitor Customer credit ratings and provide the latest credit reviews to Sales Dept Provide Monthly Credit exposure and overdue status to Sales Dept at EOM and maintain ledgers (Trade Debtors and Trade Creditors). Monitor Customer payments/payment schedules and liaise with Account Managers and Customer Accounts payable departments to ensure prompt balance payments and Recording incoming payments from Trade Debtors in SAP Prepare Monthly Accounts Receivable Statements for customers at EOM and provide Statement of Accounts when requested. Initiate workflow of outgoing payments to Trade Creditors and schedule the approved outgoing payments in SAP Prepare Monthly Accounts Payable Statements to Trade Creditors and provide remittance lists to Trade creditors when requested. Checking, processing and approval of company expenses Processing bank payments, monitoring bank balances for company treasury activities, such as intercompany loans, and calculation of monthly foreign exchange gains and losses Monthly reporting of management accounts such as cash flow, balance sheet and P&L Full involvement with periodic closing and reporting activities and annual financial audits and preparation of documents for internal control purposes. Finance Assistant Manager - Skills you'll need to succeed: Qualified Accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / AAT L4 qualified) Experience in accounting/bookkeeping/finance First hand operational experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Supporting UK & EU tax returns, with knowledge or experience with European import tax rules Understanding of working with international offices (ideally Japanese) & knowledge of the Japanese language both useful & ideal though not essential.
