We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Quality Improvement Manager to join our team and drive our quality initiatives to the next level. Key Responsibilities: Quality Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive continuous quality improvement (CQI) strategy that aligns with the company's goals and customer expectations. HSE: Ensure all activities within the job holders control are undertaken in full compliance with HS&E legislation and company and local procedures and policies. Process Optimisation: Identify, analyse, and implement process improvements in the laser cutting and manufacturing operations to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. Root Cause Analysis: Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address quality issues, ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented and sustained. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise data and statistical analysis tools to monitor key quality metrics, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve processes and product quality. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, quality assurance, and other departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence. Training & Development: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on quality standards, continuous improvement methodologies, and best practices. Customer Focus: Collaborate with customers to understand their quality expectations, address concerns, and ensure that their requirements are consistently met or exceeded. Quality Audits: Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and drive continuous improvement. Innovation & Best Practices: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality management and continuous improvement, and apply this knowledge to improve company operations. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality management or continuous improvement role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in laser cutting or metal fabrication. Education: Bachelors degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality management, or a related field. A masters degree or professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are a plus. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent), Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects focused on quality improvement and process optimisation. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget. Customer-Oriented: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality excellence, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
