Balfour Beatty have a new opportunity for a Planner to join our growing regional civils team in East Anglia to support on multiple projects and SCOPE frameworks. Working across multiple projects in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, this new role offers the opportunity to gain fast-track experience across multiple disciplines and sites.
You will interact and become a key member of the project delivery team providing a quality service to support the effective delivery of the ongoing projects and supporting on ECI and Pre-Con for new contracts.
What you'll be doing
Progressing your career as a Planner with our growing business, you’ll:
* Provide & update weekly planning data in project controls systems
* Produce detailed planning reports to support construction teams
* Identify quantities and factors affecting the programme from live information at site
* Identify planning scope, major constraints, and contract requirements
* Establish and agree with all relevant stakeholders construction outputs and associated working hours.
* Establish and agree with stakeholders key methods of construction, sequencing, installation, and handover to commissioning.
* Produce and document the planning deliverables including programmes, planning philosophy, presentations, and reports.
* Produce ad-hoc detailed schedules (lifting, temporary works schedules e.g. CBS, scaffolding etc.)
* Support the Senior Planner with ECI and Pre-Construction work on other projects in the region
Who we're looking for
* Civil Engineering or Construction Management qualification to ONC/HNC/Degree level or equivalent
* Experience using Asta (Power Project)
* Experience working on infrastructure project or frameworks is desired but not essential
